How does an atomizer work?


The atomizer is the key part in any electronic cigarette. It is responsible for turning the e-juice into a thick and powerful vapour.  The right combination of battery voltage and atomiser resistance allows for a great vaping experience. 
Please be careful when handling atomisers as they could get quite hot when used.

‘Priming the atomizer’


When setting up an atomizer for the first time it is necessary to pour a couple of e-liquid’s drops directly on it before you start vaping to avoid ‘burning it’. This is known as the atomizer’s ‘priming’ process which prevents the atomizer from being damaged or tasting like burnt over the first few puffs.

How often should I clean my atomizer and how do I do that?

Atomizers can get dirty or clogged over time due to the process of turning the e-liquid into vapour and will need to be cleaned to keep on performing at their prime. Some vapers clean their atomizers every day just by blowing through them and cleaning the excess liquid with a paper towel. Others clean them once or twice a week but in a deeper way. That obviously depends on how much you vape on a daily basis and on how dirty your atomizer actually is. Typically just running it under hot water for a couple of times will work very well. If it doesn’t, you can think about soaking the atomizer in pure grain alcohol for about 10 minutes before washing it and letting it dry.



Cleaning the battery

Rechargeable lithium batteries need to be cleaned from time to time to ensure any dirt built up in the area where the atomiser is screwed in is removed. This can be done by simply using a cotton bud rubbed in hot water or alcohol. You should do the same with the charger, cleaning the contact where you screw in the battery. Please make sure that all components are dry before using them or assembling them back together. Take advantage of the two batteries in the kit to allow every one of them to fully discharge before recharging it. This will extend the battery life and keep the it nice and strong after every charge.
